WHO USES YOUR SERVICES?
I assist older adults who wish to maintain their independence, often in their own home or in a senior living community. Family support is also important given today’s pressures of juggling work, home, kids, and activities just to name a few. Seniors often worry about being a burden to their busy children but want to manage an independent lifestyle. Loving children struggle to find the extra time to assist with a parent’s household management tasks. Whether adult children live nearby or out of the area, I partner with clients and families to provide support so that the quality time they do spend together is focused on enjoyment and fun.
ARE There SERVICES YOU DON’T PROVIDE?
JG Life Services does not provide any medical, physical assistance, transportation or fiduciary services.
DO YOU PROVIDE REFERRALS FOR OTHER SERVICES?
Yes. For services not offered directly, I have a network of trusted professionals to call upon. Rest assured, I’m happy to connect you with experts whose services are beyond my scope. Should a referral need result outside of my network, I will research to find resources that meet your needs.
This is a big step as I’ve always been able to manage on my own. How do I get comfortable with this?
Kudos to you for choosing to focus on your priorities rather than doing everything on your own! Remember that I am your partner and together we will discuss which tasks you prefer to delegate. I honor your wishes and capability to keep doing what you love. I’m here to relieve you of tasks that are difficult, time-consuming or you simply just don’t want to do at this stage in life. Think of it as a gift of time so you can concentrate on activities that you enjoy.
WHAT ABOUT CONFIDENTIALITY?
Confidentiality is of utmost importance. I ensure this by using a service agreement that states that all Client information shall not be disclosed without written consent.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes. I carry both general and professional liability coverage.
HOW ARE YOUR SERVICES BILLED?
I charge an hourly fee with a 2-hour minimum per visit. Whether you need help with a short-term project or ongoing support, JG Life Services can accommodate your needs. Frequency of visits whether weekly, monthly, or seasonal will be discussed to ensure that specific needs are met.
CAN I ADD SERVICES OR MAKE CHANGES?
Definitely. Flexibility is an important part of my services. I understand that needs may change over time. You can add additional services any time or modify the existing arrangement.
WHAT GEOGRAPHIC AREAS DO YOU SERVE?
I primarily serve clients in Berkeley, Oakland, and Rossmoor but also welcome clients in San Leandro, and Castro Valley.
